We are an enthusiastic, Eco loving, culturally inspired team who are passionate about helping our visitors unlock their adventurous senses and immerse you into our journey through the ever popular Mokopuna track, Redwoods Forest.

Rongoā Journeys, takes absolute pride in being able to guide you through our backyard in a safe and supportive atmosphere while sharing with you some of our local Māori stories including enjoying the glow worms that celebrate at night. 

Our guides come from a long line of warriors (as we all do) who have great knowledge of the area and are ready to share with you all they know. We believe we are the Kaitiaki (guardians) of the land so it is our duty to work within natures guidelines and inspire our manuhiri (visitors) to do the same and to leave our journey knowing you are a Kaitiaki too.

So, below we have prepared a few words that you might like to learn or while you are scrolling through the website you may recognize. These words are from the Māori language, Te Reō, and have the translations along side. We encourage you to;
